I am having a long email exchange with someone at the moment and today they asked if I could stop indenting the previous emails with chevrons everytime I reply, because after a few exchanges, it destroys the legibility of the emails.

Can I turn off indents and chevrons and just have the prior email text appear below the To:, From:, CC:, Subject: list?

I'm happy to hack some config files. I didn't see a menu option.

Thanks Adam

OK, I've installed that it does the job - you can see the chevrons in the reply as it appears - and then it suddenly deletes them. A bit of sticking plaster over the actual issue but it works. Thanks.
