Since a few weeks ago I can't access my add-ons. When I try it, 'it' sends me to the Google search webpage, what do I do?

I am not sure exactly what happen. One day I found a program on my computer by which I could supposedly access TV Channels and watch TV. I deleted what I found of it and forgot about it. Initially I did not find it strange but than realized there was nothing to 'uninstall' Some days after that I tried to go to add-ons to make some changes. That was the first time I was send to the Google search webpage. I am the only user on my computer. I can't think of anything other than this mysterious 'TV program' that could have something to do with the add-ons access problem.
