yes that appears to be the same underlying cause for these thunderbird crashes as well!

I have removed the software and its drivers. I will let you know if the both programs are stable now. thanks!

I have this problem also. Every day, several times a day for a week now. I do not know how to uninstall the software and drivers you reference or even know what they are. Is there any other way to fix this? I was given suggestions about Safe Mode and Hardware Acceleration but that doesn't work. I am ready to switch and find another browser but would rather not. Can you help me? I have Windows 7.
