Hi all,

something has been driving me crazy for a while. It's impossible to type accents / diacritics in Google Docs or Facebook (Messenger or comments).

Let's say I want to type è (very common in french) Here is what I get: eè or eeeeeeeeee (in both cases I don't get the on-screen popup you normally get on macs where can you select the accent you wish)

This is extremely annoying and unusable. I have to type somewhere else and paste. It only happens on FB and Google Docs from my experience. Nowhere else. I tried restarting with add-ons disabled but the result is the same. I also disabled all the softwares running in the background on my mac. No issues with Safari or Chrome. For info I use the US version of Firefox.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't find any answers online.
