Hi, Firefox updated and now all my tiles are gone. Just a blank page on new tab with a grey firefox logo top right. No cog icon.

Update a couple of days ago and now new pages are completely blank. I had about 8 tiles saved with shortcuts to work sites so this is infuriating. All the advice I read refers to a cog icon top right hand corner - but there is no cog icon. There's a grey firefox icon top left which switches on a "let's get started" thing but I can't find anything in there to put the tiles back.

Bizarre thing, I closed Firefox and re-opened (I've tried this before) and it said installing updates - now all my old tiles are back. Maybe a problem with the upgrade last time round??

exactly, it was a known issue in the last version that got fixed with the 61.0.1 release: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/61.0.1/releasenotes/
