The differance will be mainly due to the device that you are using. If you have an Apple device (such as an iPhone or iPad), you will be using iOS. Virtually everything else uses Android (with a few exceptions that use one of a number of lesser known operating systems).

There are mobile versions of Firefox for both platforms, tailored for either iOS and Android.
