[FF 60.1 Mac] Set default window size for double-clicking the menu bar

Hi,

I have been using Safari for a very, very long time as main browser and want to try Firefox now.

But there is one main thing that annoys me so much. When I double-click the menu bar, the Firefox window expands to the whole screen. But I would prefer to set the default window size to 3/4 of the screen (or whatever is Safari's default).

I know that I can resize the window to a smaller size and it remembers that size. But still - when I'm double-clicking the menu bar it resizes to the whole screen.

Is there an option to change this? If not, can this be implemented in a future release? This drives me crazy!

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hi, not a mac person do you have to double click as a single click is all that is needed in Windows. ?

Firefox opens to it's default settings, It possible could be changed in about:config but if wanted full screen or larger you would need to go in make the changes and restart Firefox making it more of a hassle by 10x's or more.

So no nothing that I know of in Firefox and nothing I have run across as a add-on/Extension. Which does not mean it is not there. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/extensions/

If you care to leave this as a suggestion please go to the 3 Bar Menu --> Help --> Submit Feedback and it will be reviewed by a team for a future release.

Thank you for your reply!

I can toggle fullscreen mode with one button on Mac... But I don't want fullscreen. I want the window at 3/4 screen.

I probably make a quick screencap for this problem. But I also will submit a feedback form.
