I have three email addresses coming into Thunderbird. When I create an event, it defaults to using my personal gmail account. I want to set up events for work, using my work email not my gmail. So how do I change the email address between email accounts when setting up an event or hide my gmail account?

Lightning can have multiple calendars. When you create a calendar you associate an email address with it. When you create an event on a particular calendar that is the address it uses. Create a new calendar for your work address and be sure to select that calendar when creating this types of events.
