Lightning does not work in the new version of Thunderbird (60.2.1) - addons manager says that it is not compatible.

The 2 answers I found online don't work for me:

1. Thunderbird site suggest that by resetting 'extensions.installedDistroAddon.{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}' it should all work again, but it doesn't.

2. I also tried installing 'xul-ext-lightning package' but to no avail.

Please, I need help! I need my calendar to work! And I'm not computer savvy...

BTW I'm on Ubunto 16.04 LTS

Thanx

Just to specify, when I look for 'extensions.installedDistroAddon.{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103}' in the Advanced Config editor of Thunderbird, the search doesn't find it
