Oct 2018. Firefox has stopped remembering log in data on selected sites. I know it's not the sites that's the problem because Torch still remembers
During October 2018 I found that log-in data for a number of my frequently-visited sites was no longer remembered by Firefox. This is selective as for some sites - for example AOL and Hotmail - it is retained. I find that if I use the Torch browser then the log-in data as still been remembered, and this proves that it is not the websites that are causing this issue. I have treied the usual fix of Options-Privacy & Security-Save Logins but that does not cure the problem. The problem ccurs no matter wich computer I use, so it is not caused by an individual computer.

Hello IanCrim,
A complete stab in the dark, but could it be that the Trend Micro Password Manager is installed on your system ?
If so : that could be causing this problem, and (unless you're using this software) you could remove it from Windows Control Panel.
You mention using the 'Torch browser', which got me a little worried - these threads will show you why :

Hey McCoy,
Really good of you to come back so quick. Sadly, it does not seem to be that as it is not installed on any of my computers. The confusing thing is that the same issue occured on two quite different computers, one running W7 and the other W10. Anyhow, many thanks also for the heads up on Touch: I really appreciate that!
I was so hoping that the Trend Micro Password Manager would turn out to be the culprit .......
