Export/Import bookmarks from Android Firefox to local sdcard on Android tablet
All the questions so far have been use Sync. This is not an option. The solution has to be local to the device.
On the Linux desktop version of Mozilla, I would simply goto $HOME/.mozilla/firefox and backup my profile directory. Or I would goto Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup.
It is super fast and easy and an absolute necessity to preserve one's bookmarks locally quickly. There are all sorts of reasons one needs to save a copy of their bookmarks at any time locally. Bottom line, preservation of user's data should be the ultimate goal.
In Androids Settings > Apps > Firefox > Storage > Change, I've seleted SD Card. On the SD Card there is a common directory /storage/0000-0000/Android/data/com.mozilla.firefox/. This would be the location to Export Bookmarks too. These files can be accessed with a general file manager or Termux.
This is probably more a feature request than support question.
I would prefer Firefox for Android had an Export option like the desktop versions, but it is my understanding now, as-is, users have to root their device to backup their data. Anyone go this route?

Hi
I do not believe you can currently export bookmarks from Firefox for Android to an SD card, but this may be a feature that is included in a future release.
