What format is the ext HDD? If it is ntfs rather then fat32 that makes it longer to release the drive.

Its NTFS. But.. it doesnt matter... I just want to know what FIREFOX as a BROWSER have to do with my EXTERNAL 'HDD'? Besides, its not even one process, its one process per tab.
