Download 'Drafts' and 'Sent' messages in the background

I have multiple email accounts. Each Inbox account folder and the meta-folder for all Inboxes continually updates without any user action necessary. However, the emails in Sent and Drafts folders will not download/update with new messages since they were last viewed until they are clicked or TB is restarted.

This is most problematic when doing work all day then jumping on a plane w/o internet access and the most recent Sent and Drafts aren't available since those boxes hadn't been clicked recently.

Is there someway to have the Sent and Drafts folders update with a set frequency by themselves, like the Inbox does?

I noticed this discussion that suggests if you make the change in a folder's Properties, the IMAP Sent and Drafts would at least update when getting new messages.
