After installing the latest update for iOS (Firefox 17.3), all I can get as a homepage is a row of icons (top sites??) which are not useful. It is difficult enough to use FF on an iPad; at least I had it set to display my bookmarks for a homepage as well as any new tab. That worked (not perfect, but acceptable). Now, the latest update ruined it.

So, all I get now are grade school icons which are not useful when you volunteer on a technical support forum and simply want to choose one to answer questions. Any chance to make the interface a bit more work oriented?

Second question and related to either iOS or Mac OS Mojave and Sierra: I now have 4 useless accounts at Firefox as FF refuses to accept login credentials including passwords that have been reset and confirmed. I cannot delete these accounts since I cannot sign in. I had to create a new webmail address in order to again create a new account; do not know if I will be able to sign in again, so I'd appreciate an answer to my email address.

Since there hasen't been a reply, I've taken care of my problem by switching to Safari; they also have icons, BUT they also have a list of bookmarks/favorites.

Hopefully, the developers will have a change of heart and go back to the version that really worked (and didn't need to be fixed, IMHO).

Have the same problem. I found the code update which changed it (PR #4783 on 2019-04-15), but can't tell if it was intentional. I filed another question with more detail.

It is too bad - FF was my preferred browser for years, but it is simply not working well in iOS 12 on an iPad Pro. I can only get either the FF home page to start with (not interested or helpful) or a blank page which is also not helpful since neither the library/bookmarks nor anything else is available at that point. So, I've had to switch back to Safari - no choice.
