hi FF 67, Windows 10 It seems FF starts downloading files BEFORE clicking OK. Sometimes i mean i can only click download AFTER the whole file already has been downloaded... Why is that so? How cann i stop this "preloading"? thx

You can't prevent this.

Firefox immediately starts downloading the file in the background and saves the .part file to the OS TEMP folder and doesn't wait until you specify the name and the location (destination folder). If you cancel the download then the .part file is removed.
