Why do I always have to click to allow adobe flash in order to play shockwave games such as freeonlinemahjonggames.net formerly run with shockwave?

more options

I play, every now and then, freeonlinemahjonggames.net. It used to run on shockwave player, but it was discontinued. Now, in order to play that game, I have to click to allow adobe flash to run. Why can't firefox come up with a compatible alternative for shockwave and allow it to automatically run, including even adobe flash instead of having to constantly clicking to run/activate?

To read about the why: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/why-do-i-have-click-activate-plugins

The TL;DR is: Flash support will be removed from Firefox and other browsers in 2020. So Flash is dead, as all other plugin-based web technologies (e.g. Java applets, Unity webplayer, etc.).
