I downloaded Firefox for the first time on my computer and when it tries to open, a pop-up appears saying my profile is missing. Why?

HI dr..... if you have problems accessing the Profile Manager, you can create a new default Firefox profile by deleting the profiles.ini file, using these steps:

Click on the Windows Start button and click on Run...
Type %appdata% in the Run box and click OK. ...
   Double-click the Mozilla folder.
   Double-click the Firefox folder.

I tried this solution already but when I access the Firefox folder, it doesn't show anything concerning "profiles". Only two folders appear called Crash Reports and Pending Pings.
