Ever since updating to 68, Thunderbird has been automatically downloading newsgroup headers on startup. BUT...

1. I am subscribed to mozilla.support.firefox and mozilla.support.thunderbird. It is only downloading the headers for m.s.thunderbird.

2. The box is UNchecked in settings to download any newsgroup headers on startup. It downloads them anyway.

Everything else in v.68 is working fine for me. Any ideas?

Why post here if you are subscribed to the newsgroup.

My guess is you have marked the folder for offline use.

Thanks for the response, Matt!

I posted in the newsgroup a few days ago and got a few responses but none of them solved the problem. (Check the settings, make sure it's not set for offline use, try Repair Folder.) I was hoping someone here might have another suggestion.

And the folder is not marked for offline use.
