I want to be able to search my bookmarks

more options

I have a lot of bookmarks I try to keep them organized in folders. But I've gotten behind. When I search for a word in the search bookmarks window it shows me things on the internet, that is not my bookmarks. If it happens to find one of my bookmarks, it shows the location on the internet not in my bookmarks folder. I want to able to search for things I've saved and to see what folder I put them in. If I want to search the internet I would use a search engine.

Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.

When you are using the address bar, if you type an asterisk after (or before) your text, the drop-down will be limited to matching bookmarks. But depending on why you are searching, the Library window mentioned by FredMcD might be more useful.
