Forum home page not now updating when you go back to it.
When I look at a forum home page, unread topics are listed in bold type. If I then click on an unread topic and read it, when I go back to the home page it used to update and show that topic read. Since the last Firefox update, this no longer happens, the topic is still showing as unread, I have to referesh the page to see it as read.
Clearly Firefox is now caching that page, why has it changed?
Firefox 77.0.1 was installed on 4th June. Firefox 77.0 was installed on 3rd June.

Maybe there was a change on the forum's side that removed the automatic updates to save on bandwidth?
This works for me.
This caching can also be done on your side.
- Cache control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, max-age=0
Did you modify any cache related prefs on the about:config page?

I checked with the forum software developers, no changes made.
I had already tried Firefox in safe mode and it made no difference. I have also made no changes to any part of Firefox, this all started immediately after the last update, so if any changes were made, they were made then.
I have just looked down the list in the config editor and can find no reference to caching, the list goes from Browser to Canvas. No cache. Is it listed under something else?

OK, just gone back to update 76.1 and this has made things work as they did, so it is clearly something to do with the latest update. Whether it's the update to 77.0 or the subsequent one a day later, 77.0.1, remains to be seen.
