However I can use the old password to sign in support.mozilla.org but the password does not work for firefox sync . I tried clearing all cache and using different devices but the problem persists and does not let me set up sync.

  1. Go to accounts.firefox.com
  2. Click on the lock icon in the address bar.
  3. Click on More Informationbutton.
  4. Click on the Permissions tab.
  5. Scroll down to Set Cookies and select Allow.
