Automatically upgrade from FF ESR 68 to FF ESR 78.2

more options

Hi,

The official browser FireFox version in our company is FIREFOX ESR 68. Today some computers (windows 10) are automatically updated to FIREFOX ESR 78.2 but not others.

This is a problem because we were going to open at FF ESR 78.3 from September 21 only. Can you tell us how to avoid this update to an intermediate version ?

Best regards, Patricia

Hi Patricia, to avoid Firefox from updating automatically, please open the Firefox settings. Choose General > Firefox Updates. Choose the button with the text Check for updates but let you choose to install them. (see screenshot)

I hope I could help you, JustSecurity

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

I know this parameter but FF ESR 78.2 is not an official version. The next official version is 78.3 that will be update on September 21. Why is version 78.2 installed on some computer (in Paris) and not others (in Toulouse) ? I have version FF ESR 68.12 and it is up to date, because it is the last official version.
