Ctrl-T no longer opens new tab

Since last update several keyboard shortcuts no longer work. I find them easier than using a mouse often. Two that are most annoying at not working is Ctrl-T to open a new tab Ctrl-C to copy. That now opens developer tools This all started with last update. Does anyone know how I can restore those keyboard shortcuts?

Anyone have any idea who would make a common keyboard shortcut like the one for copy do something different. Do these people not use computers?

Hmm, these shortcuts weren't changed.

Normally Ctrl+Shift+C opens the Developer Tools to the Inspector with the click-to-select element feature enabled.

Ctrl+Shift+T is Undo Close Tab (same window, not cross-window). Does Ctrl+T do that now on your Firefox?

If so, Firefox seems confused about your Shift key. If you haven't done a regular shutdown and restart of Windows since this problem began, perhaps that would help.

Ctrl-T doesn't do anything now. Maybe I need a new keyboard.

Have also noticed that if I open a new window and earlier in same session I had closed a window with multiple tabs then all those tabs will open instead of just a new window.

Consistent with Ctrl+C/Ctrl+Shift+C in that Ctrl+Shift+n is Undo Close Window.
