Javascript void links open in new blank tab while in SSB / App Mode
Possible bug report: I'm using SSB / App Mode for https://outlook.office.com. While in SSB mode, when clicking on links with HREF="javascript:void(0);" the javascript action executes correctly in the SSB window but Firefox also opens up a new blank tab in the main Firefox window.
(Expected behaviour is no new tab/window opened. Expected behaviour happens when accessing the same site in a regular Firefox tab/window.)
I realise SSB is stlil in development so might not be a fix for this?

Does this also happen if you open the Outlook website via a desktop shortcut with the "--ssb url" command line switch and no other Firefox windows open ?
I've tried that, but can't test it as I've encountered another issue. Both the default SSB desktop shortcut created by Firefox, plus an additional one I created with the --ssb url command switch you recommended, will not load the website unless another Firefox window is already open. If other Firefox windows are closed, both desktop shortcuts open up an empty SSB window with the relevant window title, but the content within the window never loads.
So I worked out that some add-ons were preventing the SSB Outlook window from loading, if the main Firefox window was not already open. I disabled all add-ons and was able to open the Outlook website with the "--ssb url" switch.

The same issue with javascript void links still happened.

I think that they give up with this SSB feature.
See bug 1682593.
Oh OK thanks for that, I didn't realise. I guess the bugs are here to stay.
