When I go to my website, all the text is center screen and shows in a single colums of words. How can I spread this out so it is readable like I can see using Chrome.

Hi Bill, the layout looks like it is modified to match a "high contrast" Windows theme. Do you prefer that appearance, or do you prefer that pages have their usual fonts and colors? If you want to see pages in the colors specified by their designers, you can change the following setting on the Options page:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

Scroll down to the Fonts and Colors section and click the "Colors..." button.

Change the selector below "Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above" to Never and then click OK.

That may or may affect the width of the text.
