I have been unable to send or receive emails since yesterday. I contacted Telus and technical support said that the configuration and password were fine and that the problem was with Thunderbird. The message I get when I try to get messages is that Login to server imap.gmail.com with my Telus username failed. How can I solve this problem?

What are your server settings? They should be: imap.gmail.com on 993, smtp.gmail.com on 465; SSL/TLS, OAuth2 authentication, User Name = yourname@telus.net.

I double-checked everything and figured out that the problem after all had to do with the password. All fixed now. Thanks.
