My IMac Desktop is SO SLOW its insane. So I'm checking trying to find out why and I notice In Preferences, I have default browser set to be Duck Duck Go.

However, in the General Tab of Preferences it shows Firefox as my Default Browser with no way that I can see how to change it since the Always check Firefox is your default browser is not highlighted so I can't change it. HOW DO I FIX THAT?

ALSO - any images on sites or pages I load are either very slow to appear or don't appear at all and I think its part of the SLOWNESS problem.

Duck Duck Go is a website/search engine. Not a browser.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
