As it seems Thunderbird's own font size options are meager or do not seem to work (Preferences > Language & Appearance> Fonts & Colors does not work for this) and as the custom extension we were using is longer supported on version 78, the reading pane's font size has shrunk down to an almost unreadable size. Does Thunderbird have any improved/efficient options to increase the font size in the reading pane?

In TB, the message list is called the Threads Pane. This topic explains a simple method to adjust all fonts by modifying a preference in Config. editor, as well as a method using userChrome.css.
