HOW THE HELL DOES A BROWSER GET BOOKMARKS AND BOOKMARK FOLDERS WRONG?! LOADING SPEEDS, COOKIES AND BOOKMARKS! THERE ARE THREE THINGS TO GET RIGHT IN A BROWSER! NO SERIOUS PROFESSIONAL IS GOING TO STICK WITH A BROWSER WHEN THE FREAKING BOOKMARKS FOLDERS HAVE THIS BYZANTINE, COUNTERINTUITIVE, SCATTERED HIERARCHY THAT IT IS ARRANGED IN THE MANAGER THAN HOW IT LOOKS IN THE SIDEBAR AND HOW IT LOOKS IN THE TOOL BAR AND WHERE EACH HAS IT'S OWN WEIRD ARRANGEMENT AND THEIR IS NO INSTANCE OF THE SAME PLACEMENT AND ARRANGEMENT BEING DONE TWICE!!!

Firefox has 3 top-level buckets for bookmarks, depending on how you prefer to work with them:
- Bookmarks Menu - traditional drop-down menu => you can access it from the menu bar (Alt+B) or the optional Bookmarks Menu button for the toolbar (add through Customize, looks like:
(Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
- Bookmarks Toolbar - traditional horizontal bar => Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window
- Other Bookmarks - a default folder for new bookmarks => this is useful for people who don't care about moving things into folders, they navigate to bookmarks using the address bar (typing part of the address or keyword then clicking the suggested bookmark)
You will see all three top-level buckets in the sidebar and in the Library.
By default, Firefox adds a new bookmark to the last folder where you added a bookmarks. If you want to control where new bookmarks are added, make sure the editing panel is displayed when you add the bookmark. Click the star icon in the address bar and look for this checkbox: "Show editor when saving".
