I have a Win7 file folder single level directory holding about 500 .eml SENT files.

When I select the NG EXT v11.1 option of "all messages just from the directory" NG v11.1 does import all the .eml files BUT loses the identity of the RECIPIENT in the Correspondent field and instead repeats my/sender identity for all 500 .emp sent files imported.

I am running TB v91.4

HELP PLEASE !

If you have an issue with an addon you should ask the author for help with it.

Noted and will do.

But in the meantime can you suggest another Import/export add-on that is V91.4 compatible ?

The TB websites only cite NG v11.1 and a TB V68 compatible I/E add-on.

I really do not understand your question, because email has no correspondent field, despite Thunderbird having a correspondent column in mail lists. Just as there is no recipient as labeled.

Email is restricted to From: CC: and To: So all sorts of assumptions are made in creating the correspondent column and determining what to display. So many that I simply disabled it years ago as an annoyance. Such assumptions that if the folder is a sent folder the correspondent is the recipient (TO:) but if it is the inbox it is the sender (FROM:)

Your issue appears to me to be you have taken send mails and placed them in a non sent folder and in doing so changed what is displayed in the correspondent column. Place them back in a sent folder and you will see what you expect. As long as the from account exists that is.
