Firefox menu item disappeared and cannnot recover view

What happened? I can no longer see the menu items in upper left area. All the menu items like "history" etc are no longer visible. I cannot select the "private browsing" option.. icon is not displayed.

The toolbar items are still visible but browser items that sued to be available have disappeared and I cannot find a menu option anywhere to bring 'em back into view.

This all became current view after last upgrade.

Hi Ronin, I think what you're referring to is the menu bar. It was hidden by default over 10 years ago. Maybe you added it back since then? Here's how to unhide it: Right-click on the toolbar and choose Menu Bar

If that's not it, then you might be in Full Screen mode. You can find other solutions in the following article: Restore the Menu bar in Firefox
