I am moving my email hosting from one hosting account to another. I have both accounts configured in Thunderbird. The original account has many many folders and sub-folders. How can I copy the structure and all the contained emails to the new account?

I found a solution to this problem. Switch to IMAP. With IMAP all the emails are on the server. Create new accounts and folders in Thunderbird. Then simply drag the emails to the new accounts/folders. This will copy the email to the IMAP server for that account and folder. Done. The emails are in the new location now.

I also have this problem. I love Thunderbird and it operation. Been a user/member for years, but now I can't seem to consolidate, move, combine or add Sub-folders from my other email accounts that also reside in Thunderbird. If all email accounts could feed into only one set of sub-accounts it would be super for organization. - Any ideas or am I just missing something ? Thanks
