Let me thank you all for your help in advance. I'm running TB 78.7.0 on macOS Mojave (10.14.6). I recently change the password for an email account and while I CAN access that account via webmail on the host's server, Thunderbird does not recognize the password. The problem occurs on both my desktop and laptop machines. I tried deleting the account and recreating it, but I still have the same problem. I have successfully changed the password on the host's website, but no matter what I do, I still can't download mail from that server. TB has worked literally for years on this email account but has abruptly stopped. Please, does anyone have any wisdom to share?

Did you remove the old passwords from Preferences/Privacy & Security, Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the new password when prompted?
