CONFIGURATION: Need to Update Thunderbird Auto-Configuration Profile
Hello!
Long ago, it appears that there were automatic server configurations that were specified to use, if someone typed in our domain name (umich.edu) for an email address, when configuring Thunderbird. Needless to say, things have changed SIGNIFICANTLY in regard to those settings, and we need to work to update/remove the current configuration/info that is being pushed to our users by Mozilla/Thunderbird.
Can someone at Mozilla speak to how we can remove and/or change that configuration data that is pushed to people, that appears to be stored by Mozilla (or another centralized location)?
Best regards, [b]

To be more specific; we need to change the information that is pulled down for the umich.edu domain automatically from the "Mozilla ISP Database".

This data I assume https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/umich.edu
That is managed through this github project. https://github.com/thundernest/autoconfig
I am not sure of exactly how it is supposed to work these days. Perhaps raise an "issue" in the project and get pointed in the right direction by folk that are in the know.
Thank you, Matt!
Indeed, that is the data. I've posted a message as an issue, and also submitted a change and pull request, so we'll see where that goes.
