I do not understand how to allow websites to open. I have tried changing the privacy settings. I know the CDC is a trusted web site and it will not allow me to go to them. I am in school and I need access to that site

Hi, it sounds like if you try to hit https://www.cdc.gov/ you are getting a "Server Not Found" error. One possibility is that the DNS lookup -- the step where your browser tries to find the numeric address for the site -- failed. Could you try changing your DNS setting using the steps in the following article: Firefox DNS-over-HTTPS. Does having DNS over HTTPS either ON or OFF make any difference?

Thank you for your reply! Apparently, the issue has now been resolved on its own. I didn't have to change any of my preferences.
