The previous Firefox version setting does not work anymore in v108. I really want to disable that. Search bar is for intended search. Search from address bar is unwanted and even dangerous when redirected to random web after mistyping the address. I want to get an error when wrong address is entered. Thanks.

That is a default and can't be changed and Firefox doesn't have a default search engine so not sure what your referring to here as it has installed defaults but not a Search HomePage. That is something the user must set for themselves.

Did you set keyword.enabled = false on the about:config page as that should disable a search unless you override this e.g. via '@' ?
