Facebook Browser Push Notifications won't Toggle On
Hello! Recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. I wanted to get browser push notifications from Facebook, specifically Messenger, but it won't toggle on for some reason. When I refresh the page, it's still off. I've allowed Facebook.com permission to send notifications, cleared cookies and cache, and even uninstalling Firefox extensions, but no luck. Any help?

I have the same issue, it's been this way for months. It worked awhile ago. This is the only site I have issues with this feature.
You can try to create a cookie allow exception for https://facebook.com
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Exceptions"
Tried this along with everything else I can think of but no joy at all, very frustrating ing indeed and sad that Firefox is the problem here...
Have you tried the page info window? While on the site use ctl+i to open that window and on the Permissions tab go to Send Notifications and Allow.

You may have to create a cookie allow exception for https://facebook.com to make notifications (workers) work.
Has anyone found a solution? Are the devs aware of this issue, has it been reported to them? I can't believe this problem, tied to one of the most trafficked sites on the internet, has existed for months and still hasn't been solved.
According to a post on Reddit, a report has been filed with bugzilla. It is also reported as a "web compatibility" bug; the poster enabled push notifications by changing the browser's user agent to GC.

Hey guys, tried some of your suggestions here (allowed cookies for Facebook, reinstalled Firefox, even switched over to Windows 11), but still no luck with the push notifications. I have no idea if the problem is just because of Facebook Messenger or the Firefox browser itself.
