Hello, Firefox is my favorite browser for desktop, but on android its scrolling performance is not good compared to most other browsers. Clearing cache doesn't help. No add ons are present. Device is oneplus 10 pro. Am I missing something or the app itself has limitations? Thank you

Hi

If you open the Android Settings app (typically a cogwheel icon) select Applications and find Firefox, under Storage select the option to clear the cache (not data!).

Do this same process for other apps you have installed and then restart your device - you should experience an improvement.

Like I already said, clearing cache doesn't solve the problem

Hey there! I totally get what you're saying – smooth scrolling is super important. Sometimes, it could be due to how the browser's interacting with your phone's system. You could try adjusting the scrolling settings in Firefox. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, and toggle off 'Smooth Scrolling'. Also, make sure you have the latest version of Firefox, as updates often include performance improvements.

I am referring to Firefox for Android, while your suggestion is for the desktop version. There is no smooth scrolling option in the android version
