Firefox sync dosn't get my older logins.

HI Team,

I have alot of logins saved from my previous laptop and it was syncing with firefox account. My previous laptop got dead. Now i am trying to login to new laptop but passwords and bookmark is not recovered?

Can you please suggest me how can i get my data back?

Simple... you need to bring it back to life, log into it and allow the sync process to complete. The data is encrypted and since sync is not a back up service, you need to make it happen. Does the previous drive work? If so, take it out and put it in a external case.

You can install the About Sync extension to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).

Note that resetting the password for the Mozilla account because you do not remember the password will remove all data stored on the Sync server because this password is used to encrypt your data locally for security reasons before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only this password or a possible recovery key can decrypt this data.
