Unfortunately, setting defaults can only (to my knowledge) be done at the account level, and doing even that can be a little challenging. I created a simple (some call it ugly) video back in ver 102 that demonstrates it. The key is to - set one folder the way you want it - highlight and select the icon as shown in video, - click the apply to option and keep clicking down to and including the entire account.
