I copied my wife's Windows 7 Thunderbird profile from "(user)/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles" to a thumb drive. Upon doing a cold install of Windows 10, I copied the profile from the thumb drive back to the following location: (user)AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles Now when I try to open Thunderbird, I get a Profile not Found error message. What am I doing wrong?

Did you copy also profiles.ini file?

No, the backup info in the Help file didn't say anything about a Profiles.ini file. Am I too late to try to re-create it?

No problem, just try to open thunderbird with -p parameter, then create a new profile with pointing your copied profile folder. I did something like this 2 months ago with firefox, so it should work. You have a copy on a USB stick, so nothing should go wrong.
