Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: IP 110.32.62.0 is not authorised to send mail for domain hotmail.com. See http://www.open-spf.org. Please check the message recipient "whenangelscry@optusnet.com.au" and try again.

Select the optus account in the left pane of Account Settings, then look at Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the right pane. Is the Hotmail smtp server selected or the optus smtp?

Thanks sfhowes, Okay, Outgoing Server reads: Outlook.com (Microsoft) - smtp - mail.outlook.com. (This is for a Hotmail account). Also Server Settings are: Server Type: IMAP Mail Server, but Server Name is: pop-mail.outlook.com Is this all messed Up? Cheers, whenangelscry

The Hotmail settings are shown here. But the main problem is that the optus account is trying to send on the hotmail smtp. You should also have an optus smtp with these settings:

mail.optusnet.com.au, port 25, security=none, authentication = password, transmitted insecurely, User Name = part of address before the @.
