My google calendar, gmail, and G docs either will not load or only load after several attempts, or are very slow. They work fine in Chrome. This morning I couldn't open a G doc at all in FF, but it opened in Chrome.

My FF is up to date. I recently installed security software from AVG that is more full featured than the version I've been using for years with no problem. Could there be some known incompatibility between AVG and FF?

I'd much appreciate any suggestions!

PS this is happening with Facebook too. I click the FB icon and it starts to load, then hangs. So I need to click the X in the toolbar, which goes back to the 'reload' icon, and click that. Then FB loads.
