The following Thunderbird file is 367 mb in size:

global-messages-db.sqlite

It is located in this folder:

C:\Users\bkoop\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\oxvn9h8y.default

What is it used for? Can it be deleted so it will be recreated and grow starting at a smaller size?

Yes, it will be recreated if deleted and will be a smaller size. This file is used to index the message folders.

Are there other such large Thunderbird files that could be deleted and automatically recreated? Is there a list or would I have to find them and ask?
