Importing bookmarks from Firefox on another hard drive

more options

I am making a new hard drive as my primary master hard drive. I still have Firefox with all my appropriate bookmarks on the old hard drive which still works and is still on my computer. I have tried every which way to move the bookmarks from the firefox on my former master hard drive to the firefox on the new master hard drive and have been blocked at every turn. I have scoured these forums for the specific type of bookmark problem I have and no results appear.

I never created a firefox profile on my previous primary hard drive. Is there any way to do what I'd like to do without being FORCED to boot to that hard drive in order to either create a profile, or export its bookmarks as an html file?

Okie, never mind and thank you, The article you suggested gave me an idea where to look, and I finally tracked down the JSON files on my previous primary drive and used Restore in Organize Bookmarks to load them. The article you linked did help in my figuring out what to do, and I thank you for that.

I have my bookmarks back, yay :D
