Can only open the mail if its shown as incoming mail in the Google talk application. :(

Works in Chrome and Safari and it continues to happen in Firefox 4 beta.

I was able to fix by opening Tools, Integrated Gmail and removing Calendar from Element Section.

I had the same problem too. Removing Calendar from the Element Section didn't work for me. But disabling the Firefox add-ons Integrated Gmail did!
