Whenever I open Firefox, the search engines in the top right corner always dissapear and I'm left with no search engines to use, even when I re-install them.  :(

This happened

Here's a screenshot of the toolbars.

Your screenshot didn't attach but your search.sqlite file may be corrupt. Try the following:

Go to Help > Troubleshooting information, click Open Folder next to Profile. Keep this Folder open

Close Firefox (File > Exit). Wait for it to completely close.

In the Profile folder you opened earlier, find search.sqlite and rename it to search.sqlite.backup

Restart Firefox, it should regenerate this file.

If this DOES work, can you please let me know? I'd like to get a copy of the corrupt search.sqlite.backup file so we can figure out how to detect it automatically.

You may also need to remove search.json in the Firefox Profile Folder
