Google web search displays times visited to certain websites (beside URL in search results) even after clearing history. Why is this and how can I turn it off?

When searching specific sites on Google, the result displays in purple and Google shows how many visits I have made. I have cleared my recent history, my cache and even tried changing the colors of visited sites... Nothing works

Hey Bill, I was wondering if you have tried restarting firefox? Sometimes you have to completely reboot the program to have any preference changes set in
