When it happens it states "firefox.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" and when I click details I get the following information: AppVer - 1.9.2.3855 ModVer - 8.0.50727.4053 Mod Name - msvcr80.dll Offset - 0004f029 Its getting reeeeally annoying, please help! PS: I didnt not see any options on how to receive a crash ID

Can you please try it in a new (temporary) Firefox profile and see if the issue is still present? See this article to know how to create a new Firefox profile. Please report back the results.

If you are using AVG...disable the link scanner from the main page...this will stop the errors. It isn't a problem with internet explorer from what I can see but just with firefox. I was having the problem forever it seems until I did this. AVG must be clashing with firefox with this option enabled. It basically sees most web pages as malicious when they really aren't. I couldn't get into Yahoo or a lot of other sites because of this error.
