Firefox sometimes shows a blank screen even when it has downloaded the full source code. Then if you refresh (F5) it loads ok.

I've tested the same webpages on IE6, IE7, IE8, Opera 9, Chrome and there isn't any problem with them.

This is a recurrent issue that seems to have some incompatibility with ajax / DOJO.

I'm on Firefox 3.6.6

If you can find a pattern, that would be great because this seems to happen occasionally and it's hard to track down.

Your plugins list shows outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

  • Shockwave Flash 10.0 r42
  • Java Plug-in 1.6.0_13 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems
See Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Hi, I was wondering if the above solution worked? I am seeing this issue also. Is it something that will be fixed in a 3.6 update? Any further info would be great. Thanks.
